The Young

Many parents, bring their babies and young children to the chiropractor. The youngest patient at inc-HEALTH was only 2 weeks old. Children may have many of the same issues as the rest of us. Musculoskeletal injuries, back pain, poor posture or movement patterns.

inc-HEALTH’s treatment programme aims to reverse problems such as these in the critical early years, helping to prevent problems in the future.

Children may also suffer from headaches and neck pain. It is important to address these problems when they occur to prevent long-term pain problems later on in life.

During the teenage years back pain may become a problem. Surveys conducted in the UK have found that nearly half of all teenagers have suffered backache, often caused by poor posture, carrying overloaded school bags and leading sedentary lifestyles.

Treatment is always tailored to the specific needs of the child, and techniques are gentle and safe. Ida uses a wide range of techniques, such as hands-on manipulation and soft tissue therapy, together with a ground-breaking rehabilitation method called Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation, which can produce fast and long-standing results by helping the body to move properly.
